About this opportunity 

This position is responsible for efficiently providing solutions to customer questions, concerns and inquiries through a positive and respectful dialogue. Ability to multi-task and effectively manage customer calls and other administrative responsibilities is essential.


What your role will look like

  • Monitor specific distribution performance metrics to include preparing reports and communications as required in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Adjust and maintain accounts as identified in our distribution reports, which includes Zero Fills, Inefficient Fills, 90% Fills, and Opportunity Reports in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Communicate effectively via voice or electronic means with internal Logistics department team members and district contacts: Operations Managers, Delivery Managers, and/or Customer Service Representatives.
  • Collaborate and communicate with cross-departmental contacts to identify and create procedures and contingency plans for Logistic activities to ensure optimal management of resources.
  • Develop and maintain competency in JDE Degree program, including critically thinking about how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes. 
  • Identify measures or indicators of Distribution performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance relative to the goals of the system.
  • Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to identified problems. 
  • Collaborate with Logistics department and district contacts to develop, support, and participate in training employees in roles and responsibilities regarding forecasting and other appropriate functions. 
  • Must be able to travel to all district offices.
  • Meet attendance expectations, which involves consistently arriving to work on time and being prepared to work within assigned, scheduled work hours, understanding that these scheduled work hours may vary based on the seasonal needs of the department.
  • Be receptive to and competently use new technologies.
  • Be receptive to and successfully complete other duties as assigned.

 

What you’ll bring to this role

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Industry experience and JDE experience preferred. 
  • Aptitude for math and geographical orientation required.  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Proficient in software program navigation and ability to provide optimum service and support. 
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast pace, changing environment. 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with staff, management, customers, and vendors via email and phone. 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with team mentality and positive attitude under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
