POSITION: Regional Director of Quality

JOB SUMMARY:
The Regional Director of Quality oversees the Quality Departments at Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital and Fairview Range. This role encompasses Quality Data Analysis and Reporting, Process Improvement, support of the Medical Staff Quality Review process, Patient Safety, Infection Prevention, Patient Relations, Regulatory Compliance, as well as Employee Health and Clinical Staff Education at GICH.

JOB DUTIES:
- Coordinates the development, implementation & review of the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement Plan for the organization.
- Facilitates the Quality Committee of the Board in partnership with Board Quality Chairman.
- Attends committee meetings to present quality data, facilitate improvement activities, provide education, and support quality & safety initiatives.
- Supports Medical Staff quality monitoring activities, including FPPE, OPPE and Peer Review.
- Supports facility-wide infection prevention activities.
- Directs the implementation of patient safety strategies, including staff education, safety event monitoring, causal analysis and action planning, and public reporting.
- Directs Patient Relations activities, including complaint resolution and Patient and Family Advisory Council initiatives.
- Directs regulatory compliance activities throughout the organization related to CMS, MDH, Joint Commission and other regulatory bodies.
- Supports GICH Employee Health and clinical staff education activities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred
- RN preferred
- Minimum of 5 years' healthcare experience required
- Minimum of 3 years' healthcare management or equivalent healthcare quality, regulatory and patient safety experience required
- Certification in Performance Improvement/Quality Improvement preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to follow and adhere to Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital policies, vision, mission and values.
- Maintains reliable and consistent attendance.
Qualifications:
$118,283.94 – $166,989.09 /Annual
