We are looking for a Scheduler/Planner to join our CIN Turnaround team in Geismar, LA .

With more than 600 products in its portfolio, in particular amines, diols, polyalcohols, acids and specialties, the Intermediates division offers innovative solutions for a wide range of industries – from coatings and plastics to pharmaceuticals and crop protection.
As a Turnaround and Outage Planner/Scheduler you will be instrumental in helping to prepare for and execute turnarounds and plant outages at the Geismar site.
During your shift as a Scheduler/Planner, you will
- Manage and prioritize unplanned work orders and turnaround backlogs to meet planning milestones.
- Clarify incomplete or vague work notifications and group related orders for efficient execution.
- Complete detailed job plans and create comprehensive job packets including technical documentation.
- Audit job plan quality to ensure alignment with safety and execution standards.
- Coordinate field resources and provide execution support during turnarounds.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials required for job completion.
- Monitor and update schedule progress throughout turnaround activities including mentoring low complexity turnaoround schedule development to provide mentored progress updates.
- Drive continuous improvement by refining job plans and identifying opportunities for future optimization.
- Take part in Global PM Primavera advanced training or equivalent training as well as Power BI introduction and overview.
- Participate in basic training with the Geismar Site Lead Planner and Scheduler.
If you...
- Have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Bring at least 5 years of experience in the chemical industry, such as maintenance, operations, or engineering activities.
- Possess solid knowledge of field execution sequences and processes.
- Demonstrate aptitude in maintenance planning and scheduling techniques.
- Are proficient with SAP and Microsoft Office tools as well as possess basic knowledge about Global PM Primavera (preferred).
- Have strong planning, organization, and communication skills, both oral and written.
