Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough and objective investigations into potential fraud, misconduct, or irregularities within the organization. This involves gathering evidence and interviewing relevant parties to determine the validity of claims or suspicions.
• Provide advice and guidance to employees within the organization on issues related to investigations, compliance, and risk management. Review and assess internal controls, policies, and procedures to identify potential areas of improvement.
• Prepare detailed reports, case summaries, and documentation of investigations, findings, and recommendations, presenting findings to management or others when required.
• Actively monitor and maintain knowledge of the latest industry trends, regulations, and advancements in investigation techniques, continuously enhancing knowledge and skills through professional development and networking. 

 Requirements for Success:

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, business, or related field is preferred.
• 1-2 years of life insurance experience, including investigative or auditing experience, is preferred.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective time management and organization skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. 
• Understanding of basic life insurance products, policies, and operational processes.
• Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel required; must also demonstrate adaptability and willingness to enhance technical capabilities to support investigative functions.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and thoroughness in detail-intensive tasks.
