We have an important and exciting opening for an experienced HR Business Partner at our Development Center in Lebanon, OH! As an HRBP, you will work closely with managers and operational teams to drive strategic HR initiatives, enhance employee engagement, optimize workforce performance, and ensure alignment of HR practices with the overall goals of the business. In addition, you will lead the center of excellence for our performance management cycle.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic HR Support: Partner with management to understand business needs and work with HR team to provide solutions to support business objectives. Offer guidance on workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational development.
- Performance Management: Partner with HRBP team to manage performance evaluations, provide coaching, and ensure employees are aligned with business objectives. Guide managers in giving constructive feedback and managing underperformance across the organization.
- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employees at all levels. Provide support in resolving employee concerns and conflicts, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Collaborate with recruiting manager to fulfill staffing needs. Ensure the business has the right talent to meet operational demands.
- Training & Development: Assist in assessing the skills and development needs of employees and managers. Assist in rolling out training programs to enhance capabilities, improve employee performance, and support career progression.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure HR policies, practices, and processes are enforced with regard to labor laws, health & safety regulations, and company standards. Proactively address any potential HR risks within the manufacturing environment.
- Employee Engagement & Retention: Work to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement by assisting in executing programs that promote a positive workplace culture. Drive initiatives to reduce turnover and retain top talent.
- Compensation & Benefits: Collaborate with the HR Compensation Manager to execute competitive compensation strategies and benefits packages. May work with Compensation Manager to understand salary and bonus structures.
- Health and Safety: Support the implementation of safety protocols and ensure employees adhere to all relevant safety guidelines. Collaborate with the Health & Safety department to maintain a safe working environment.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize HR metrics and data to evaluate employee trends, turnover, and other key performance indicators. Provide insights and recommendations to leadership for continuous improvement.
- Other duties in support of company objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required).
- 5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a business partner role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
