Description
Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for processing customer orders, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, sales, production, and shipping. This role plays a key part in delivering excellent customer service and supporting daily business operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive customer orders via phone and email.

Enter customer orders into Sales Pad and confirm receipt with customers.

Copy shipping department and file customer purchase orders.

Coordinate and monitor all customer backorders.

Conduct customer surveys as directed.

Participate in monthly inventory, including allocating and fulfilling production orders for each line.

Set up new customers and maintain customer item numbers using item maintenance.

Assist with billing processes and generate monthly sales reports.

Allocate and fulfill all orders being billed.

Move orders from Ship Batch to Invoice Batch.

Respond promptly to customer requests and issues; escalate critical issues to the Customer Service Manager when necessary.

Maintain clear communication between sales, production, shipping, and customers to ensure satisfaction.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Manager.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
-
Previous customer service experience preferred, especially in order processing or related office roles.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP/order entry systems (Sales Pad experience a plus).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
