Professional Services Engineer bei Server At Work, LLC

Server At Work is an IT managed services provider looking for a Professional Services Engineer for the successful delivery of technical projects and solutions to clients. This role involves hands-on implementation, configuration, and support of IT infrastructure, devices, cloud services, and cybersecurity solutions.

As a part of our Professional Services team, the engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and internal teams to ensure high-quality outcomes that align with business goals. 

The engineer will work from our Server At Work office located in downtown Lake Charles, Louisiana. As needed, the engineer will travel in the Austin area to client sites for project work, proactive site work, and emergency escalations.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and support Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and related infrastructure.
• Deploy, configure, and setup hardware and IT infrastructure at client sites.
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity solutions.
• Conduct client assessments, gather requirements, and contribute to solution design.
• Manage project tasks, timelines, and documentation in collaboration with the project team.
• Provide technical escalation support for onsite and remote issues.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and ITIL-aligned service delivery processes.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 and Windows Server environments.
• Experience with firewalls, networking, and remote monitoring tools.
• Certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft 365, Windows Server.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Valid U.S. work authorization and driver’s license.
• Ability to lift light to medium equipment as needed.
  

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
• Familiarity with RMM/PSA platforms (e.g., Autotask, ConnectWise).
• Cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience with scripting or automation tools.
  

About the position:

• Regular work hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Central (Except major holidays).
