Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: 7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10007 (Principal place of business – telecommuting permitted)

Duties: Design, code, enhance, and test software applications to meet business process requirements. Contribute to ongoing feature development of web applications based on service-oriented architecture, involving UI, Services and databases. Work with development team leads on technical and architectural direction of projects. Research, analyze, design, and deliver solutions that are appropriate for business and application development strategies. Work with cross functional, globally dispersed development teams to support development efforts to meet business requirements. Design and develop new projects and enhancements based on evolving business needs. Interact with internal users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance of software. Migrate existing application to cloud native technologies and infrastructure. Perform application release cycle management and deployment in multiple environments. Perform smoke test after application release with business user and provide walkthrough of new application to business analyst. Telecommuting Permitted (100% telecommuting position. Will consider applicants resident in the continental U.S.).

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field plus two (2) years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a
related position performing software development and designing technical solutions. Must have experience with the following: architecting, designing, developing, and implementing solutions to support enhancements and bug fixes in existing and new applications; applying knowledge of Core Java, Multithreading concepts, design patterns, and software development methodologies, including Agile, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment for applications development; working with PL/SQL, Postgres, Python, Informatica, AWS EC2, AWS QuickSight, AWS S3, AWS Lambda, Tableau, Unix, Shell, GitHub, GitActions, BitBucket, Oracle, Confluence, and Jenkins; working with open source code and frameworks; and using build tools, including Maven and GIT. Telecommuting Permitted (100% telecommuting position. Will consider applicants resident in the continental U.S.)

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $123,656 to $192,300/yr, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
