Navion Senior Solutions, a leading provider on of senior living across the East Coast, has an opportunity for a seasoned Vice President of Sales and Marketing to lead our Sales and Marketing team across the organization. This leading role will provide both strategic and operational support to the organization by developing short and long term sales, marketing goals, and strategies - leading the sales team in the achievement of occupancy growth objectives for the company as a whole, each regional sales region, and in each community. This position is responsible for increasing the effectiveness and progress of the sales and marketing team as well as working with key internal stakeholders to design, implement and routinely produce key sales metric reports. Reporting to the Chief eXperience Officer, the Vice President of Sales and Marketing also works closely with the corporate team, Vice President of Field Operations, Regional Directors of Operations, Regional Directors of Sales and Marketing, Site Sales and Marketing Directors, and community Executive Directors to ensure objectives and goals are the focus for the community sales and marketing teams. Frequent travel to all Navion communities is required.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of leadership in a Senior Sales role in senior housing or hospitality required.
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in regional marketing, sales, and communications.
- Must have a successful track record in sales and sales leadership.
- Must have multi-site/regional experience in over 20+ communities or locations.
- New development, expansion, or lease-up experience required.
- Must have a valid state driver's license.
- Successful leadership and financial skills required.
- Must be able to handle conflict, problems, and emergency situations.
- Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary setting with residents, families, team members, representatives of the communities, and government agencies.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and Power Point required.
- Must maintain expert-level proficiency of the organization's CRM.
- High energy level and the ability to handle multiple priorities is required.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies at the corporate level and coordinate these at the regional and community level to achieve sustained occupancy levels at or above target.
- Coaches, trains, tracks, and assists with the management of the Sales and Marketing Regional Team.
- Coaches, trains, and supports the corporate team, various regional directors, and community-level Team Members in sales, marketing, communications, metric management, business development, and other areas included in this job description or as otherwise directed.
- Sets, monitors, and knows monthly occupancy goals for the company and each community; developing strategies to ensure their success (meets or exceeds predetermined monthly sales goals).
- Reviews, refines, and creates sales and marketing materials, protocols, and initiatives. Ensures that all sales policies and procedures are understood by the regional team and being followed in the communities as stated in the Sales and Marketing Policy and Procedure Manual.
- Assures accuracy and integrity in daily and monthly sales reports (census, move-in, move-out, sales performance, and mid-month).
- Trains all new and existing Team Members to the standards of the Sales and Marketing Policy and Procedure Manual. As needed, attends weekly team meetings to observe individual and group dynamics and efficiencies.
- Interviews all screened Sales and Marketing candidates to ensure that professional experience and skill set meets the demands of the position.
- Acts as an expert and is a resource for all Navion Team Members regarding the CRM and any reports related to sales and marketing.
- Identifies sales and marketing opportunities using a data-driven decision mindset and provides updates to how sales and/or marketing strategies can be supported or validated using key metrics and data throughout implementation.
- Ensures that Quarterly Sales Plans are completed, followed, tracked, and adjusted as necessary.
- Ensures that Competitive Analysis is updated at least bi-annually, and as new competition comes into a market.
- Ensures that weekend, holiday, and vacation sales coverage is in place at every community.
- Works to enhance professional selling skills for each regional Team Member, improving the overall effectiveness of their sales training approach.
- Motivates the sales team through ongoing training and positive reinforcement.
- Maintains and develops a Sales Team Newsletter to help create cohesiveness, share best practices, and create positive reinforcement.
- Manages monthly commission reporting from Sales Team and submits a summary of results and pay-outs to the Executive Committee.
- Provides a monthly sales dashboard report to the Executive Committee.
- Extensive travel is required to include any state and location that Navion has a community or any state and location under consideration for acquisition.
- Provides supervision and guidance to Regional Directors of Sales and Marketing, community Sales and Marketing Directors, and others as assigned to assure company objectives are met. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations' policies and applicable laws.
