.Net Application Developer bei Global Data Consultants

GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking an Application Developer 3 (AD3) to support the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission in a hybrid capacity. This role involves enhancing the Resource First Portal (RFP) to meet WCAG accessibility standards. Candidates must be within commuting distance of Harrisburg, PA, and available for occasional on-site meetings. The project environment is highly collaborative and focused on modernizing legacy applications using .NET and Angular technologies.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As an Application Developer 3, you will be responsible for upgrading and modernizing existing applications for accessibility compliance, converting monolithic applications to microservices, and supporting the ongoing development of web-based applications. Working both independently and within a team, you will analyze, design, code, test, and document solutions using technologies such as ASP.NET, C#.NET, Angular, and SQL Server. Your role will also involve troubleshooting, source control management, and presenting recommendations for issue remediation.

• Upgrade existing applications to meet WCAG accessibility standards.
• Convert monolithic applications to microservices architecture.
• Analyze, design, develop, and test application code using .NET technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs in existing codebases.
• Develop user interfaces using the Angular framework.
• Maintain source control and versioning using Microsoft TFS.
• Record, verify, log, and document testing results.
• Present and document technical solutions and risk mitigations to team leads and management.

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET Framework.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL Server 2016 or higher.
• 1+ years of experience with ASP.NET and C#.NET.
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft TFS or a similar version control tool.
• 1+ years of experience with the Angular framework.
• 1+ years of experience developing in a microservices architecture.
• 1+ years of experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).

Preferred Experience

• 1+ years of experience with WCAG Accessibility development.
• 1+ years of experience with HTML and XML.
• 1+ years of experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
• 1+ years of experience with GIS Mapping tools or integration.
• 1+ years of experience using Entity Framework.
• 1+ years of experience with Telerik GUI Controls.
