CEDA is seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Services Manager to lead our operations team based out of our Fort McKay location.

In this high-impact role, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across both in-shop fabrication and on-site mechanical services. Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide both strategic direction and operational oversight to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality mechanical services across all projects
• Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring all work meets CEDA’s safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities while supporting client relationships, proposals, and bids
• You will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of leaders and field workforce aligning with organizational goals
• Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and risk management to meet schedule, budget, and quality targets
• Build strong cross-functional alignment with internal teams (e.g., Maintenance, Projects, Quality Control, HSE, Supply Chain, Finance) to align on priorities and performance
• Own and managed key financial planning and reporting, including forecasting, cost reviews, and performance analysis
• Support long-term strategic planning and regional growth initiatives in partnership with the General Manager
• Perform additional duties as needed to contribute to CEDA’s success

Role Specifications:

• 10+ years’ experience in a leadership or management role is required
• Journeyperson trade certification would be considered an asset
• A Strong mechanical background with experience in mechanical services or an industrial environment is required
• A solid understanding of project costing, budgeting, and financial performance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), with experience using project control tools such as Power Bi
• Class 5 driver’s license with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years
• Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
