WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As Strategic Asset Manager, you will support and optimize our client's hardware asset management program across Canada and LATAM. You will ensure end-user devices are efficiently tracked, supported, and managed throughout their lifecycle.
You will also serve as a global float, providing flexible support to other regions as needed to maintain continuity and operational excellence in our hardware asset ecosystem.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the end-to-end hardware asset lifecycle—including procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and decommissioning—for Canada and LATAM regions.
- Maintain real-time, accurate inventory records across asset management systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Kandji, WorkspaceOne).
- Support regional logistics coordination, vendor interactions, and hardware delivery tracking.
- Collaborate with IT, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure asset operations align with budget, timelines, and compliance standards.
- Conduct periodic audits, reconciliation activities, and reporting to support data integrity and compliance goals.
- Act as a global float, assisting teams in EMEA, APAC, or other regions during peak periods, coverage gaps, or special initiatives.
- Participate in process improvement efforts to streamline asset workflows and enhance operational efficiency across regions.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in IT asset management, logistics, or procurement operations.
- Working knowledge of IT asset lifecycle best practices.
- Experience using asset management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Kandji, WorkspaceOne).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining inventory accuracy across multiple regions.
- Effective communication and coordination skills with distributed, cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility to support global operations, including occasional off-hours collaboration across time zones.
- Proficiency in English; Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred for LATAM support.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
- Familiarity with managing hardware for remote and distributed teams.
- Exposure to ITIL-based service management practices (incident, change, configuration).
- Certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CAMP, or CompTIA Project+ are a plus.
- Experience supporting Canada and/or LATAM-based users or offices.
