We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Python, and SQL to join a project for a leading company in the hospitality industry. The role involves building and optimizing scalable data pipelines, ensuring efficient data ingestion and transformation processes, and enabling robust analytics capabilities. This position requires hands-on experience with cloud-based data architectures, ETL/ELT development, and data modeling best practices.

Job Description

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines and architectures on AWS.

• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Python and SQL.

• Develop data models to ensure clean, reliable, and well-structured datasets for analytics and reporting.

• Integrate and transform data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.

• Collaborate closely with analytics, BI, and AI teams to support advanced reporting and decision-making use cases.

• Ensure data security, performance, and compliance with industry standards.

• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in AWS cloud services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, RDS).

• Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks.

• Advanced skills in SQL for data modeling, transformations, and performance optimization.

• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion processes.

• Familiarity with data modeling best practices and analytics/BI environments.

• Ability to work independently in a client-facing environment.

• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
