Job Summary
**The shift for this position is 10hr days, Monday-Friday**
The Surgical Technologist assists in the preparation, processing, and maintenance of supplies and equipment, and functions as a member of the surgical team during operative procedures.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary for this position is $65.86 (Hourly Rate).

Required Qualifications
- Recent experience (within the last two years) scrubbing in at least three of the following service lines: Pain/Spine, Ophthalmology, GYN, GU, General Surgery, OHNS, Robotics and Plastics
- Demonstrated proficiency in at least two of the surgical specialties listed above
- Graduate of Surgical Technologist Training Program; or equivalent experience
- Current CPR Certification
- High School diploma; or equivalent experience
- The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist.
- Scrub experience in at least one of the following services: Ophthalmology, OHNS, Robotics, Urology, Gynecology, OMFS, Plastics
License/Certification
- Current CPR Certification
