Madhive is seeking an experienced and strategic VP, Sales Operations and Strategy to lead and scale our sales operations functions. This individual will be responsible for optimizing our sales processes and infrastructure, providing technical expertise as a bridge between internal teams and customers, and managing a small team. This role requires a deep understanding of the ad tech industry, sales methodologies, sales operations best practices, and strong project management skills. This role will be based in our NYC office 3-4 days a week.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Process Optimization:
Define and execute the overall sales operations strategy aligned with Madhive's business objectives and sales goals.
Optimize sales processes, workflows, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Own upselling initiatives from ideation to analysis
Technical Bridge & Customer Enablement:
Act as a technical liaison between sales teams, product, and engineering for both platform and local space customers.
Provide technical support and guidance to sales teams on Madhive's products and solutions.
Collaborate with sales enablement to develop customer-facing materials and training for platform and local space utilization.
Assist in complex deal structuring and technical problem-solving for customer solutions.
Team Leadership & Development:
Manage and mentor a small team of sales operations professionals.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.
Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team objectives are met.
Project Management:
Lead and manage various sales operations projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Develop project plans, track progress, and communicate status to stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate project risks.
Performance & Measurement:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and ROI of sales operations initiatives.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and other internal teams to ensure alignment and support overall business objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in sales operations, sales enablement, or a senior sales role within the adtech industry.
Proven track record of designing, building, and scaling successful sales operations programs.
Deep understanding of sales methodologies and sales operations best practices.
Strong technical acumen and ability to act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams.
Demonstrated strong project management skills with a proven ability to lead complex initiatives.
Experience managing and developing a team.
Strong knowledge of the connected TV (CTV) and digital advertising landscape.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decisions and measure program effectiveness.
Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement platforms.
Based in NYC.
The base salary range represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position based on the primary location. The salary for this role is $210,000 - $235,000. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competency, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
