Job Description  

We’re looking for a true quality champion who can spot issues before anyone else and take action to keep our standards high. This is a boots-on-the-ground role, perfect for someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, work alongside production, and help the team achieve exceptional results. You’ll be the eyes, ears, and voice for quality, ensuring that every product leaving our floor is something we’re proud to stand behind. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will make you a critical driver of our success. 

  

Responsibilities  

Here are some examples of the actual work your day would include.  

  • Create and maintain work instructions for new and existing production processes
  • Conduct process audits on the floor for every phase and department of production 
  • Conduct a variety of tests on inbound materials from vendors, in-process inspection of products and outbound products for shipping 
  • Work with outside vendors to review, update and create documentation for quality issues; noting the corrective actions and/or opportunities for improvement that were taken 
  • Communicates feedback in a professional, positive, and solutions-focused manner
  • Track, maintain and record calibration of testing equipment
  • Operate as part of a cross-function team working on continuous improvement items
  • Trains and supports employees on quality processes, fostering skill development and adherence to best practices
  • Maintains a safe work environment while providing quality, detailed work 

 

Skill Set  

To be successful in this role, you need to have a certain amount of knowledge and skills:  

 

  • Minimum of 2 years quality control experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word specifically 
  • Quickly and accurately identifies defects and deviations through strong visual attention to detail
  • Proven history of understanding industry safety standards and quality expectations 
  • Knowledge of handheld measuring devices (Calipers, Micrometers and Indicators) 
  • Technical background is a plus 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

This position requires manual dexterity for working with small components, ability to complete repetitive motions for long periods of time, bending, continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 50 lbs. and managing packages up to 150 lbs as well as standing/stooping for long periods of time.  

We need a self-motivated Quality Technician ready to master their craft and deliver precision in every task. Quick to learn, able to work independently, and driven to add value beyond daily duties—you’ll help raise the bar for quality across the organization.  

 

Availability  

The regular schedule is 8 hours per day between 6:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed. Occasionally, projects may require evening or weekend hours.
