Role: Connected Car Functions Developer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop: Design and build world-class solutions to solve real-world problems effectively.
  • Deploy: Use continuous delivery practices to deliver high-quality software and provide incremental value to end customers.
  • Collaborate: Work in collaborative, cross-cultural, value-driven teams to deliver innovative customer experiences.
  • Champion: Explore, adopt, and champion the best technologies and practices.
  • Operate: Take responsibility for the entire software lifecycle from ideation to development, deployment, and operations.
  • Innovate: Invest in building resilient and scalable solutions in the cloud using best development practices and state-of-the-art cloud platforms.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Technical Skills: Proven experience in developing cloud-native software using Java, Kotlin, and GoLang.
  • Quality Code: Ability to skillfully write high-quality, well-tested code.
  • Influence: Experience influencing others and advocating for technical excellence while being open to change when needed.
  • Resilience: Ability to approach challenges from multiple perspectives and remain resilient in ambiguous situations.
  • Containerization: Hands-on proficiency with Docker and Podman.
  • Scripting: Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python) for automation.
  • Linux: Solid command of Linux OS, including navigation, system administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Android Studio: Experience with Android Studio for building, testing, and debugging applications.
  • TDD: Significant experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles and practices.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Engineering disciplines such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Additional certifications (if any): Agile, DevOps, etc.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

  • Domain knowledge in automotive engineering or related fields.
  • Exposure to international projects and global stakeholder management.
  • Experience with Daimler systems or similar global platforms.
