As part of the Enterprise Technology Services Data and Integration team, you will be part of a team that maintains a wide array of production and development application platforms and products that support core business functions. Your primary focus will be the full life cycle system administration of the Oracle ODI, Coherence and WebLogic applications by monitoring and tuning systems and processes to achieve optimal application performance, stability, and security. You will also have the opportunity to broaden your skill set by learning the other products that the rest of the team supports like Informatica, An Initio, Solr, Mongo DB, Kafka and IBM products like MQ and ODM.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
• Application administrator for Oracle ODI, Coherence, WebLogic in an enterprise level, high usage, high profile platform environment
• Ensures adherence to Service Level Agreements regarding platform availability and reliability.
• Supports Life Cycle Management by providing timely product roadmaps to keep all platforms up to date through regular patching, upgrades and retirement of aging systems.
• Provides support for application system issues to all customers.
• Creates and oversees documentation of system run books, problem resolution steps, and tenant application information.
• Effectively manages communication between architecture, development, quality testing, administrators, and IT management on current issues, open vendor tickets, upcoming maintenance, and platform changes.
• Improve business continuity and disaster recovery design, planning, and documentation including fault tolerance.
• Minimize after-hours on-call engagement by creating simple and well-documented processes and automation to enable support teams to resolve incidents. 
• The role will provide support for production systems on a rotating after-hours on-call schedule. 


Experience and Skills:
Required: 
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related degree and five or more (5) years of relevant experience in assigned area or combination or education, experience and training.
• Strong experience in product administration for Oracle WebLogic and Fusion stack with preferred emphasis on ODI and/or Coherence.  
• Strong knowledge of WLST scripts, UNIX scripting and automation
• Strong knowledge with UNIX/Linux environments and commands
• Working Knowledge of Oracle Databases
Preferred:
• Experience with JVM memory management, diagnostics and configuration.
• Experience on clustering, performance tuning, load balancing, connection pools, multi pool, JMS message Queue and Monitoring
• Experience using Ansible to automate repetitive work
• An understanding of external monitoring tools such as: Datadog, DynaTrace, Splunk 
• Any cloud experience: AWS (preferred), GCP, Azure
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools
• Understanding of network and security concepts and technologies
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking standards, protocols, etc
