Hospice Executive Director

Department: St Joseph Hospice Location: Conroe, TX

St. Joseph Hospice in Conroe, TX is currently seeking a dynamic, dedicated and passionate leader, who is looking for a rewarding opportunity and the chance to become a part of an extraordinary Hospice team as an Executive Director!

Hospice, Home Health or Healthcare management experience required!

As an Executive Director you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of assigned Hospice program/site.

Responsibities:

  • Plan, organize, direct and evaluate services of Hospice
  • Manage the program under the direction of the Governing Body within the established goals, objectives and policies of the organization
  • Direct, supervise and evaluate hospice personnel and volunteers
  • Coordinate services of all team members of the interdisciplinary team
  • Ensure compliance with all rules, regulations, laws, policies and procedures applicable to the program

Requirements:

  • Licensed physician, licensed registered nurse, a social worker with a Master�s Degree or a college graduate with a Bachelor�s degree.
  • Three years of documented management experience in health care service
  • Be familiar with federal, state and accreditation regulations and maintain them in an Agency.
  • Knowledge of product and service purchasing policies and practices
  • Knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of contractual terminology
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • General Computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Must be a highly ethical, self-motivated team player
