Job Summary:
We are seeking a Pesticide Technician to join our grounds team. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills. The main responsibilities include following instructions to complete chemical application tasks, accurately measuring and mixing chemicals, and scouting for insects and diseases. Experience in chemical applications and the ability to concentrate for extended periods are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Follow instructions to apply chemicals according to guidelines.
- Scout for pests, insects, and diseases in landscape materials.
- Measure and mix chemicals accurately.
- Protect landscape materials from pests and diseases.
- Apply fertilizers to promote growth and health of landscape materials.
- Ensure the safe application of chemicals in compliance with label recommendations.
- Contribute to environmental protection through the use of Best Management Practices (BMPs) and application guidelines.

Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in chemical applications.
- Strong ability to concentrate for long periods of time.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of scouting for insects and diseases is beneficial.
- Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines for chemical applications.
