Position Summary:

As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality repairs, and exceptional customer satisfaction. You’ll manage a team of technicians and service advisors while driving performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, customer communication, and technician support.
  • Lead, train, and motivate service advisors and technicians to meet company goals.
  • Ensure all service operations comply with safety, environmental, and company standards.
  • Monitor and improve customer satisfaction metrics and handle customer concerns or escalations.
  • Develop and implement processes to increase productivity and profitability.
  • Maintain accurate records of repair orders, parts usage, and service histories.
  • Collaborate with parts and sales departments to support overall business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Service Manager, Service Advisor, or similar role in an automotive environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair, maintenance procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency with service management software (e.g., Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, etc.).
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
