Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and experienced Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a strong background in Fintech to join our dynamic sales team. As a senior member of the SDR team, you will play a key role in driving top-of-funnel growth by identifying and engaging high-value prospects, building strong relationships, and qualifying opportunities for our sales pipeline.
This role requires a proactive approach to outbound prospecting, leveraging your industry knowledge and network to open doors with key decision-makers in the Fintech ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive outbound prospecting campaigns to generate qualified leads for the sales team.
- Leverage your Fintech expertise to identify new market opportunities and tailor outreach to high-value prospects.
- Research target accounts, map key stakeholders, and develop personalized outreach strategies.
- Engage with senior decision-makers (C-suite, Product, Operations) to understand their challenges and position Modulr’s solutions effectively.
- Qualify inbound leads and nurture them through the early stages of the sales cycle.
- Collaborate closely with the Account Executives, Marketing, and Partnerships teams to optimize pipeline generation strategies.
- Provide insights from the field to shape go-to-market strategy, messaging, and product positioning.
- Mentor junior SDRs and support best practice development across the team.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline targets.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of SDR or BDR experience in the Fintech or payments sector (essential).
- Proven track record of exceeding lead generation and pipeline targets.
- Strong understanding of Fintech trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive dynamics.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – confident engaging senior stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce) and outbound prospecting tools (SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6Sense and Clay).
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
