The Lockheed Martin FBM Program is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team in Denver, Colorado.
As an Electrical Systems Engineer on the FBM Life Extension 2 (LE2) program, you will:
• Design, develop, and test electrical systems and subsystems, including power distribution, control systems, and communication networks
• Develop and implement electrical system architectures, including the selection of components and materials
• Create and review electrical system design documents, including schematics, block diagrams, and wiring diagrams
• Perform electrical system analysis, including circuit analysis, simulation, and modeling
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and systems engineering to ensure electrical system integration and compatibility
• Develop and implement electrical system testing and validation plans, including the creation of test procedures and test reports
• Troubleshoot and debug electrical system issues, including the identification and correction of defects
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards, regulations, and industry standards, including safety and environmental regulations
• Develop and maintain electrical system documentation, including design documents, test reports, and technical notes
Successful candidate will typically have a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Engineering or related technical discipline with a minimum of 5 years of related professional work experience.
Basic Qualifications
• Experience in Systems Engineering, specifically in the areas of requirements, verification, and/or Systems Integration
• Active Secret Clearance required prior to start
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance - U.S. Citizenship Required
Desired skills
• Experience integrating across functional organizations.
• MS Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Project
• Experience with DOORS, DOORS Next, or other requirement management tool
• Experience with, or on, the FBM program, working with the Navy, or Submarine exposure is highly desired
• Self-starter, able to complete work with general direction

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
