Job Title: Billing Specialist

Department: Aircraft Heavy Maintenance

Reports To: Hangar Billing Supervisor / Powerplant Materials Manager


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


1. Compile billing summaries, detailed reports and statements for both Part 121 and Part 145 work performed in Oscoda, Michigan as well as by field service teams in other locations across the Globe. Works with customer representatives, as well as multi-level management.

2. Prepare and submit to accounting department billing summaries for both Part 121 and Part 145 and for invoicing to Part 145 customers as dictated per contract.

3. Maintain current files, records for Part 145 customers and their contracts, current and past billings and update files as needed. Also maintain current and past billing for Part 121 as well as all field service summaries and billings.

4. Compile and Report to accounting department various other statistical data as required.

5. Balance and report monthly revenue to accounting department as well as maintain running yearly revenue along with tracking account receivables for Oscoda revenue.

6. Other duties and special projects as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent certification, college is desirable and work experience in accounting is preferred. Solid working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word; Self-motivated, possess analytical skills, good written and verbal skills, able to work within established priorities and timelines.

Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English.
