Job Description:We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Governance & Reporting Analyst, within Service Management, to join our growing team. As part of the role, you will collaborate with the team to provide value through reporting and analysis to support Continual Improvement and broader business objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Capable of building strong relationships with client counterparts and internal delivery teams.
- Possesses a working understanding of the service management framework, including ITIL practices, processes, and procedures.
- Can identify improvement opportunities / contributes to the continual improvement of all practices, processes, and procedures to enhance the delivery of services and create value for stakeholders.
- Support with the day-to-day leadership of the reporting function within the Service Management team.
- Prepare, review, and submit reports (covering service performance, key metrics, and operational efficiency) in line with client requirements and timelines.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the client's service operations and utilise this knowledge to provide actionable insights and analysis.
- Facilitate large stakeholder meetings, including presenting findings and guiding discussions on service performance.
- Has an awareness of deliverables and understands the implications of non-delivery.
- Proactively define and refine client reporting requirements, managing expectations to ensure clear and effective communication.
- Identify and manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID) related to Service Management, developing mitigation strategies and ensuring transparency through reporting.
- Produce regular and valuable performance reports and dashboards that drive stakeholder decision-making.
- Analyse trends over time to provide forward-looking insights that support business and operational, strategic decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency by validating reports and improving data quality processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and Continual Improvement to ensure reporting and data analysis result in tangible value.
- ITIL4 Foundation is desired.
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices.
- Experience with presenting analysis and visualisations to communicate complex messages.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow, including building reports, dashboards, and working with Performance Analytics.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Data analysis skills – Ability to interpret large datasets, identify key insights, and present them clearly using standard office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
