ABOUT THE ROLE

CountryPlace Mortgage, a leading nationwide personal property, mortgage, and commercial lender headquartered in Plano, TX, is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to execute strategic growth initiatives across our commercial and consumer lending platforms. This full-time, in-person role is based in our Plano, TX office.

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying the right opportunities, building strong relationships, and driving revenue through direct engagement with B2B clients, manufacturers, and dealers. You’ll play a key role in connecting customer needs with tailored solutions, helping grow the business through strategic sales efforts and a deep understanding of the market.

This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in business development, account management, and strategic execution. You’ll be expected to lead initiatives, and contribute to the evolution of our go-to-market strategy.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead floorplan sales across multiple territories, managing pipelines and driving consistent growth
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand personal property and mortgage retailer relationships
  • Identify and onboard retailers in emerging markets
  • Oversee account setup and management, including remote coordination and periodic visits
  • Maintain strong service levels and stakeholder alignment
  • Gather and analyze documentation to support underwriting and account setup
  • Serve as primary contact for key stakeholders including retailers, manufacturers, and internal teams
  • Represent CountryPlace Mortgage at trade shows, leading booth strategy and marketing execution
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop training programs and improve cross-functional processes
  • Create and refine marketing materials to support brand positioning
  • Strengthen strategic relationships with Regional Sales Managers and manufacturers
  • Contribute to strategic planning and business development forecasting
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse teams and client bases
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance client needs and business goals
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently and with teams
  • Experience in developing and executing sales strategies in a B2B environment
  • Professional demeanor with a proactive, collaborative mindset and ability to support cross-functional efforts
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and communication
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to cultivate client relationships, explore new business opportunities, and support strategic growth across our U.S. markets.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree required in Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or Business
  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience in manufactured housing, RV, or marine; floorplan and retail lending
  • Advanced to expert MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
