Itochu Building Products (IBP) Holdings has an immediate need for an HRIS Specialist. IBP is comprised of Master Halco, Alta Forest Products, and US Premier Tube Mills making IBP the largest and leading manufacturer and wholesale distributor of fencing products in North America.
Position Summary:
Responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) for the organization. Ensures integrity and consistency of employee data across systems and supports HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Reporting through system functionality and reporting tools. Partners with HR associates and internal stakeholders to provide high-quality data management, system improvements, and technical support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inputs employee data into HRIS system and reviews output for accuracy.
- Performs activities associated with the administration and maintenance of the HR systems including employee master data updates, system configuration, and process documentation.
- Maintains accurate and consistent employee and contractor data across HRIS platforms. Processes change requests, new hires, terminations, and other transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provides functional and technical support to HR, Payroll, and other departments in the use of HRIS systems and associated tools.
- Identifies, investigates, and resolves data discrepancies and system integration issues. Coordinates resolution with HR, IT, and third-party vendors as necessary.
- Supports the testing and implementation of new system features, upgrades, enhancements, and patches. Participates in user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Creates and maintains standard and ad-hoc reports and dashboards for HR and other business leaders.
- Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and internal data governance practices.
- Assists with internal audits and compliance reporting as requested.
- Trains HR associates and end users on system functionality and updates; creates system documentation and user guides as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of HR data entry or HRIS experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook; ability to manipulate and analyze data using spreadsheets.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Experience working with HR systems is required.
- Experience with system integrations and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment: Dallas-based, Hybrid
Physical Demands: This job requires the ability to sit, stand, lift and/or move.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Monday through Friday 8 hours a day; at times more than 8 hours.
Travel: Minimal.
