What will you be doing?
You will be a member of the Category Growth team, leading a portfolio of 13 Grocery & Impulse client relationships, utilising extensive industry knowledge to support solving your clients business challenges. The Client Director will excel and lead the senior relationships (including c-suite), the team, commercial plan and thought leadership in the CPG, retail and technology industries.
In the role you will be supported to become a high performing member of an ambitious and collaborative team. You will also support the business in defining Circana’s value proposition to ensure it best meets the ever-changing needs of our clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the overall relationship with the client portfolio. Ensuring brilliant client service and excellent standards in insight and thought leadership at all times with the overall aim of retaining and growing the contract.
- Become an indispensable partner supporting them to always have a competitive edge, leading with opinions and leading the senior and c-suite engagement
- Developing and delivering joint business plans with the clients, progressing technology transformations with associated change management and communication
- Developing and leading a high performing team. Drive the culture and vision of the team, with line management of 4 direct reports and overall team of 6.
- Be a thought leader developing in depth knowledge of the client, their priorities and challenges. Bring the outside in - sharing and presenting thought leadership in their categories, the wider CPG and retail environment, competitors and future best practice working in insight and technology
- Forecasting and delivering against annual commercial plans and targets, with a commercial mindset to expand Circana services through identifying incremental opportunities
- Management of multiple stakeholders internally, externally and with the client’s other agencies. Lead ways of working, joint visions for success and seamless integration of insight.
- Act as a business consultant leveraging the breadth of Circana solutions in the pursuit of delivering business growth and efficiencies
Requirements
- Ability to lead the agenda with the client, proactively matching Circana solutions to the client’s key issues/strategic vision.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change
- Strong presentation skills and gravitas in engagement at all levels up to c-suite
- Experience delivering business insight and familiarity with syndicated data. Expertise in storytelling and creating clarity from large data sets
- Strong financial acumen with experience of contracts, P&L’s and forecasting
- Leadership, coaching and cultural vision that elevates team performance
- Has a strong appreciation of technology, in particular being creative with software solutions and keeping abreast of technological innovation
- Builds and leverages mutually beneficial relationships and networks both internally, and externally. Strong project and workload management as well as proactive management of internal and external stakeholder expectations
- Demonstrated resilience and sound judgement in dealing with business and corporate challenges and change.
- Effective team player and proven ability to work remotely as well as onsite with clients across virtual and diverse teams.

This position can be located in the following area(s): UK based, with ability to travel to northern and southern England based clients and travel to Circana’s Head office in Bracknell
