Piper Sandler is seeking a Talent Coordinator for our Minneapolis, MN office. This position will support our Recruiting and Learning and Development teams through a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate for this role will be able to take initiative and anticipate the needs of the team(s).
Overall Responsibilities:
Support the onboarding process for both the Recruiting and Learning & Development teams
Process invoices for the Talent team
Administrative duties as assigned
Learning & Development
Schedule training meetings/sessions, sending communications, and maintaining training calendars and other applicable duties related to performance and training.
Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, materials preparation, and participant communication and follow-up.
Provide support in the execution of L&D projects and programs, ensuring timelines are met and deliverables are achieved.
Track and report training attendance, feedback, and program effectiveness to optimize future initiatives.
Help maintain and update training materials, intranet updates, and employee development resources.
Recruiting
Post open positions within our applicant tracking system and to other relevant job boards, social media and networking affiliations.
Schedule initial phone screens or HireVue interviews with recruiter and hiring teams and will serve as the point of contact during the initial screening process and throughout the recruiting process.
Assist with managing in office interviews (“superday” interviews) in various office locations for junior hires: includes organizing logistics and managing communication both internally and externally.
Assist recruiters with interview scheduling within the organization for senior hires.
Communicate with candidates and provide information and updates as needed.
Handle administrative functions of the recruiting process, including sharing resumes with teams and managing pre-hire paperwork during the offer process.
Requirements:
1 to 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role preferred; prior background in talent development or recruiting a plus
Bachelor’s degree required
Highly organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at a time
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work collaboratively with team members as well as autonomously on projects and tasks and take initiative
Ability to think critically along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong client service skills
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, required
Experience with Workday a plus

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $50,000 - $70,000 per year. Placement within this range is dependent upon level of experience, location and other factors. This position is eligible for annual incentive compensation which will be a part of the total compensation. Total compensation for this position will be competitive with the market.
