About the Role:
The Accounts Receivable and Collections Manager will be responsible, initially as the individual contributor, for all aspects of accounts receivable and collections for STAT Recovery Services, LLC. This role will be responsible for our invoicing and collection processes and controls to ultimately improve our Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), with the support of our outsourced finance/bookkeeping group. The manager will also be responsible for our internal credit card processes to improve visibility and control. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and accounting systems, a focus on fraud prevention, and the ability to contribute to process improvements.

What You’ll Do:  

  • Review details of outstanding receivables and implement strategies to improve DSO.
  • Collaborate with our outsourced finance/bookkeeping group on bookkeeping, invoice processing and collections activities.
  • Establish and maintain internal credit card processes.
  • Work to close gaps in areas including segregation of duties, documentation, and fraud prevention, in some cases by implementing new processes and controls.
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
  • Assist in the approval workflow for invoicing within NetSuite.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable and collections.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and controls, including segregation of duties and fraud prevention.
  • Ability to work effectively with outsourced financial partners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite or similar financial software.
  • Ability to analyze and reconcile data.
