Job Description:The person is responsible for overseeing the team’s day-to-day fare filing and GDS operations, supporting commercial distribution strategies, and ensuring compliance with IATA standards. This role acts as a knowledge hub and project liaison—mentoring team members, leading filing initiatives, and coordinating cross-functional communication.
Responsabilities:
- Lead and prioritize daily fare and rule filing activities in ATPCO
- Filing of fares and rules in ATPCO and resolve, if necessary, the inherent problems;
- Guide and file Branded Fares, Ancillary Products, and Carrier-Imposed Fees
- Validate filed fares and the accuracy of the fare filing in GDS;
- Support commercial and pricing teams in the development of distribution strategies in the GDS
- Provide support to the users concerning problems linked to fares and rule discrepancies;
- Provide support to GDS users (training, support, problem solving, and verification of filings);
- Provide support to our GSAs;
- Act as a contact person with the staff of airports, the accounting department and the commercial team.
- Draft and maintain internal procedures for Filing team
- Mentor and support team members with discrepancies and trainings
- Represent the team in distribution-related meetings and projects
- College diploma in management, tourism or related discipline;
- Strong working knowledge of ATPCO
- 2 to 5 years experience in airline industry
- Experience with a GDS (Galileo/Apollo, Amadeus, Sabre or Worldspan); (asset)
- Rigor and autonomy at work;
- Good knowledge of domestique and international pricing;
- Bilingualism - French and English (written and spoken);
- Good knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.);
