Job Description:Under the guidance of the revenue management mentor, the Revenue Management University Analyst oversees a group of routes that he/she will optimise to maximize revenue. RMU Analyst will learn the key principles of RM and airline economics which will pave the way for his progression into an independent RM Analyst.
Responsibilities:
Accompanied by and under the guidance of his/her mentor, the incumbent will be responsible for:
Management of assigned group of routes to maximize their revenue by using appropriate levers and market knowledge;
Closely follow weekly workflows in accordance with business;
Learn how to analyze booking patterns to identify revenue opportunities and risks in a constantly evolving environment;
Learn how to obtain and keep up to date a strong knowledge and detailed understanding of customer booking behavior and willingness to pay;
Learn to conduct appropriate monitoring and close evaluation of key performance indicators and adjust strategies accordingly;
Communicate findings and the tactical/strategic action applied;
Learn how to work closely with Pricing analyst to ensure strategy coherence.
University degree and 0 to 1 year of relevant work experience.
Open to learn new skills and absorb new knowledge through mentorship.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and decision support tools (PowerBI).
Ability to work in a team, in a positive and collaborative environment.
Result oriented, good analytical skills and a good sense of rigor.
Reactivity and adaptability in a constantly changing environment.
Fluent in French and English (oral and written). *
*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
