CTG is seeking to fill an Oracle Fusion Financial Functional Consultant opening for our client in Houston, TX.

 

Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 12 months

 

Duties:

  • Provide functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials with a primary focus on General Ledger (GL) and Financial Accounting Hub (FAH).

  • Lead or support end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and configuration activities for Oracle Fusion Financial modules.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and configure the GL and FAH modules.

  • Manage and support GL and FAH interfaces, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial data processing.

  • Assist with functional design, testing, and deployment of Oracle Fusion solutions.

  • Provide production support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to GL and FAH.

  • Create functional documentation, process flows, and end-user training materials.

  • Work closely with technical teams to provide specifications for reports, integrations, and extensions.

Skills:

  • Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion General Ledger (GL) and Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) – must have.

  • Hands-on experience in GL and FAH configuration and interface setup.

  • Good understanding of FAH and GL processes and tables.

  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher) – preferred.

  • Good to have PLSQL knowledge.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2–3 full life cycle Oracle Fusion Financials implementations (GL and FAH – must have).

  • Proven experience in Oracle Fusion Financials enhancement or implementation projects involving GL and FAH modules.

  • Prior experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in large enterprise environments.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
