Position: Temporary Collection Specialist
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Reports To: Regional/Property Manager

Position Summary

OneWall Communities is seeking a Temporary Collection Specialist for our Harrisburg, PA location. This individual will be dedicated exclusively to managing resident delinquency, pursuing collections, and ensuring compliance with state filing requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management collections, a firm and results-driven approach, and in-depth knowledge of Pennsylvania housing laws.

This is a temporary assignment focused on stabilizing collections, improving recovery rates, and protecting the financial performance of the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct all resident collection activities, including outbound calls, written notices, and account follow-up.

• File necessary collection actions with the state in accordance with PA housing laws and property management protocols.

• Monitor and track delinquent accounts to ensure timely resolution and recovery.

• Work with residents to resolve balances while maintaining firm and professional communication.

• Collaborate with property management staff to align collection activity with community operations.

• Prepare accurate documentation of all collection activity for internal records and potential legal action.

• Provide weekly reporting on delinquency status, progress, and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of property management collection experience.

• Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania landlord/tenant and housing laws.

• Demonstrated success in delinquency management and collections.

• Firm, results-driven, and professional communication style.

• Working knowledge of RealPage property management systems preferred 

• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

• Ability to manage sensitive resident interactions with professionalism and compliance.
