We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Office Services Assistant to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in office and break areas. This role is essential to ensuring a hygienic, welcoming, and safe environment for employees and visitors.
This position is expected to work approximately 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Areas
- Vacuum carpeted areas in lobbies, corridors, conference rooms, and high-traffic zones as needed.
- Dust accessible surfaces in lobbies and corridors weekly.
- Clean vinyl or leather furniture and vacuum/brush upholstered furniture as needed.
Break Areas
- Sweep and mop floors daily.
- Wipe and sanitize tables and countertops daily.
- Dust tops of refrigerators and microwaves weekly.
- Reset tables and chairs at the end of each shift.
- Clean cabinet fronts and tops monthly or as needed.
- Wipe trash cans monthly or as needed.
- Spot clean doors, walls, and switch plates monthly.
- Clean inside of microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers, and cabinets as needed.
High Dusting
- Dust picture frames and wall hangings within reach weekly.
- Dust walls, partitions, doors, and other surfaces above shoulder height monthly or as needed.
General
- Maintain kitchen and break rooms in a clean, neat, and orderly condition at all times.
- Monitor kitchen inventory levels and promptly report when supplies need replenishment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial or office cleaning preferred.
- Ability to work independently and follow a cleaning schedule.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
