The salary range for this role is: $61,000 - $70,000

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Reviews and audits payroll data each payroll to ensure accuracy of all transactions and to support, as needed the Payroll Team to ensure timely execution of payroll
•Supports initial review and processing of respective payroll transactions including new hire processing, position/compensation changes and terminations for each corresponding payroll
•Interfaces and meets with human resources on weekly basis to troubleshoot questions and/or issues
•Complies with all relevant legislation and regulations associated with processing payroll
•Serves as an information source to matters including but not limited to: payroll processing, approval, disbursement
•Maintains and updates employee records in the payroll system timely and as needed
•Maintains electronic personnel files of all staff pay and/or allocation changes
•Oversees and collaborates to obtain approvals on time records and other documents
•Audits benefit invoices to ensure relevant changes are represented timely and accurately
•Generates routine and ad hoc reports as needed and/or requested
•Other duties as assigned and/or required


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•Associates degree from an accredited institution of higher in Accounting, Human Resources Management, Business Administration or relevant discipline required.
•Minimum four (4) years professional experience required. Payroll processing experience preferred. Experience with union payroll processing preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES (K/S/A)
•Advanced knowledge of payroll processing principles, best practices and concepts
•Functional and proficient knowledge of various technologies including, but not limited to Excel, human resources information systems such as UKG, PayCom platforms
•Expert knowledge of and ability utilizing Excel
•Ability to handle and maintain highly confidential information with professional maturity
•Demonstrated skill at analytical and critical thinking
•Ability to make timely, independent decisions demonstrating responsible judgement
•Ability to prepare clear, concise, and effective reports, letters, and other documents
•Ability to plan, organize, and accomplish organizational goals and objectives
•Effective communication skills including written, verbal and listening
•Ability to demonstrate an understanding and acceptance of equity, inclusion and diversity concepts, and that they are broader than just race, ethnicity, and gender
•Ability to work affirmatively with gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ) and HIV positive patients

ADA SPECIFICATIONS
•Requires ability to speak audibly and listen actively.
•Requires ability to use computers, telephones and other office equipment.
•Requires ability to sit for extended periods of time.
•May require occasional bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.
•May require periodic travel; up to 40% locally
