The Finance Transformation Associate Analyst role focuses on delivering the Finance Transformation strategy, which includes transformation and automation projects aimed at enabling operational efficiencies, optimizing costs, minimizing complexity & risk, and realizing value within Finance and across other functions. As part of this overall strategy, supporting the Finance Transformation program through analysis, governance, awareness, training, maintenance & supporting the overall Finance team and other functions within the Company.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:- Key responsibilities include assisting with the delivery of the Finance Transformation strategy, which includes a defined governance model.
- Identify and prioritize new opportunities that align with the Finance Transformation program vision, and assess the current state to transform and automate existing processes.
- Integrate and coordinate with business process owners to understand current state process and document the process of the current state using process and data flows.
- Assist in defining and designing the envisioned future state (new technical solution) and document the new process using process flows and data flows.
- Develop and implement the new solutions using an agreed-on automation tool, i.e., Alteryx.
- Assist with developing test cases for Quality Assurance (QA) testing of the new solutions.
- Execute and document the functional and quality assurance testing of the new solutions.
- Assist with validation of the new solutions with the business process owners.
- Assist with training and raising awareness among business process owners on the new solutions.
- Assist in monitoring of the new solutions and help identify enhancements for optimization.
- Communicate regularly and proactively with their team on status and challenges faced.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the workflow system used as part of the governance model, and the knowledge base site used to maintain the project documentation.
Must Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, mathematics, business, economics, accounting, statistics, engineering, or related discipline.
- 0-2 years of experience in finance, information technology, data science or data analytics.
- Strong analytical, communication (verbal & written), and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn new technical languages and skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Flexible and willing to adapt to the evolving business environment.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, and deliver quality work.
- Ability to critically think through issues as they arise and propose possible solutions.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders & teams across the organization.
