Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00 (after hours as needed)

The Physician provides direct medical care as well as direction and consultation to Cabarrus Health Alliance Center regarding adult primary care, pediatrics, women's health, family planning, and communicable disease services.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs physical exams, orders and interprets appropriate lab tests, prescribes medications, and other treatments for patients seen in Cabarrus Health Alliance clinics and programs
- Supervises and mentors clinical practice of advanced practice providers
- Provides consultation during normal operating hours, and after hours as needed
- Assists in developing new programs or service delivery, when appropriate
- May supervise/precept residents, interns, and/or PA/NP students, as needed
- Supports quality improvement initiatives within clinical services
- Maintains appropriate CME for Medical Licensure and as required by the state of North Carolina
Education/Experience: Graduation from an accredited medical school, completion of residency and either board certification or board eligible within specialty of Family Medicine. Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic degree required.
License: License to practice medicine in North Carolina.
