The Integration Accounting Manager helps support the financial onboarding of newly acquired companies by assisting with accounting processes, system alignment, and reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. 3–5 years of accounting experience
  3. Ability to hold and maintain proper licensure and acceptable driving record.
  4. Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime, possible nights and some weekends.

Preferred Requirements: 

  1. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  2. Experience in multi-entity accounting or acquisition integration.

Duties and/or Responsibilities:

  1. Support the financial integration of newly acquired companies, including alignment of accounting processes and systems.
  2. Travel to acquisition sites to assist with onboarding, training, and financial setup.
  3. Coordinates the integration of various JD Edwards modules, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Job Cost, and Inventory, to ensure alignment with company processes.
  4. Prepare and process accounting transactions such as journal entries and data entry.
  5. Assist with monthly intercompany billing transactions and statements
  6. Assist with payroll integration for newly acquired companies, including coordinating setup, validating data, and ensuring accurate processing.
  7. Prepare opening balance sheets for related acquisitions.
  8. Provide accounting support to the department, including help with data requests, financial filings, and other routine tasks
  9. Collaborate with internal teams and acquisition partners to ensure smooth financial transitions
  10. Maintain confidentiality of financial and payroll data and uphold high ethical standards.
  11. Assist with integration or implementation of other software programs and process enhancements as needed.
  12. Ensure MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance.
  13. Always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Strong organizational skills.
  3. Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  4. Able to work independently and under time constraints.
  5. Ability to efficiently multitask, collaborating with diverse work groups, managing complex processes, and facilitating integration across multiple acquisitions.
