About the role
We’re hiring an Account Manager who will be the face of Timeless in Illinois dispensaries. This role blends sales account management with in-store marketing execution. You’ll maintain relationships with key accounts, educate budtenders and managers, execute eye-catching marketing displays, and bring Timeless to life through in-store activations, events, and takeovers.
This is a field-heavy position that requires 20–30 account visits per week, in addition to regular events and weekend work. You’ll be out in the market making connections, driving sales, and ensuring Timeless is top-of-mind in every store we serve.
Responsibilities
Account Visits & Relationship Building
- Visit 15–30 tier accounts weekly, prioritizing top accounts 2–4x per month.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with budtenders, general managers (GMs), and assistant inventory coordinators (AICs).
- Educate store staff on product drops, artists, deal days, incentives, and upcoming events.
- Deliver swag and occasional food/drink drops to keep teams engaged and excited.
- Maintain and enhance product visibility — clean, stock, and set up displays using a fully stocked car kit.
- Ensure marketing is properly displayed on TVs, kiosks, menus, and pedestals.
On Sites / Takeovers
- Perform 1–2 in-store activations per day on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays (12–2pm and/or 4–7pm).
- Drive sales during activations by engaging customers, upselling Timeless, and offering education.
- Provide swag to customers who purchase Timeless during events.
- Energize and motivate store staff with updates, incentives, and product knowledge.
Event Support
- Attend and support Timeless-owned or partnered events (e.g., concerts, non-cannabis pop-ups, dispensary events).
- Adapt messaging for different event types and audiences.
- Evening and weekend availability required.
Market Intelligence
- Identify opportunities for improved visibility and sales in-store.
- Track competitor activity and market trends.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to adjust tactics and strategy.
Candidate Qualifications
Skills
- Outgoing, positive, and confident communicator.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and organization skills.
Experience
- 1–3+ years in sales, brand ambassadorship, or account management (cannabis industry experience a plus).
Additional Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to be a “road warrior.”
- Comfortable with frequent statewide travel and weekend/evening work.
