The Purchasing and Stores Department provides goods that help the promotion of optimal resident independence and quality of life in an efficient and cost-effective manner. The department supports the continuity of comprehensive, cost effective, quality person-centered services by ensuring a competent workforce and supporting strategies that enhance the quality of the work environment.
In Purchasing and Stores you order, store, and deliver most of the supplies for Oakwood to operate. Deliver to homes, offices, classrooms, the security center, and the greenhouse. You keep an inventory of all our products. The Stores Associate labels and mend clothing as needed. All services are provided at the highest standard of professional practice, complying with standards by both federal and state regulations and facility policies.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to meet criminal background and drug screening standards
