EnSafe is accepting applications for a part-time Environmental Project Geologist based out of our Londonderry, New Hampshire office with hybrid flexibility and project work at sites throughout the New England area.

What We Are Looking For:
As an Environmental Project Geologist, you will support a wide variety of projects including site assessments, site investigations, remediation, compliance reporting, and health and safety initiatives. This role is well-suited for a meticulous field professional ready to contribute technical expertise across multiple project types while collaborating with teams nationwide.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Preparing compliance reports including Tier II and TRI forms, and site investigation technical reports.
- Assisting Project Managers with CERCLA, RCRA, and petroleum projects.
- Compiling, managing, and analyzing environmental data.
- Preparing field documentation and supporting technical reports.
- Developing work plans, Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), and health and safety plans.
- Supporting multi-office project teams with technical assistance, mentoring, and problem-solving.
- Participating in corporate technical initiatives and contributing to continuous improvement.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related scientific field.
- Minimum of 5 years of environmental experience including oversight of contractors, field project planning, and execution of air, soil, groundwater, and wastewater sampling.
- Experience preparing Tier II forms and managing multi-site chemical inventory reporting.
- Working knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with strong data management and analytical skills.
- Critical thinking, critical thinking skills, and diligence.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Understanding of environmental sampling methods.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. throughout the day and travel to project sites.
- Ability to obtain 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
Ideally, you will also have…
- Experience mentoring junior staff.
- Prior consulting experience supporting diverse projects.
- Familiarity with compliance reporting across multiple facilities.
