GENERAL SUMMARY

Provides excellent customer service, routine user support, simple problem analysis and resolution, general technical assistance, and training for information systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.

  • Responds to activities reported to the IT Service Desk.
  • Acts as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment and data. 
  • Assists in the management of inventory for hardware and software.
  • Serve as a technical resource on projects.
  • Performs administrative support functions for programs and activities related to the Information Technology Team.
  • Assists the Information Technology department with training materials (how to videos, documents, etc) 
  • All other duties as assigned.


SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS

  • This position does not directly supervise any employees.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED with at least two semesters completed at an accredited college or university; college major in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
