We are looking for brave, passionate, reliable people to join our company. As a Lead Maintenance Technician you will
provide leadership and guidance and perform maintenance duties at clients’ site. Lubricate machinery, change parts, or perform other routine machinery maintenance. Perform Audits and PM’s along with creating reports based on the findings of these duties. Train the customer’s maintenance and operations team on proper operations and recovery of the equipment.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning work and personnel schedules for employees
- Communicate with the end customer to update them on completed work and planning of future work
- Conduct audits ensuring the other shifts are completing satisfactory PMs and repairs in a safe/ timely manner.
- Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work.
- Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect problems.
- Inspect or test damaged machine parts, and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs.
- Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified procedures.
- Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications.
- Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.
- Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information.
- Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
- Set up and operate machines, and adjust controls to regulate operations.
- Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment.
- Responsible for Inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and other supplies so that stock can be maintained and replenished.
- Transport machine parts, tools, equipment, and other material between work areas and storage, using cranes, hoists, or dollies.
- Collect and discard worn machine parts and other refuse in order to maintain machinery and work areas.
- Clean machines and machine parts, using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment.
- Provide training on the maintenance and operations of the equipment.
- Work with remote support teams to open tickets related to support and warranty.
- Travel to the US and EU for trainings and meetings as required.

This position requires the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment characterized by high noise levels, elevated temperatures, and humidity.
Communication skills
Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to clearly delegate tasks, train technicians, and collaborate with management and other departments
Administrative/Managerial Responsibilities
Responsible for planning work and personnel schedules for employees
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift/carry up to 51 lbs.
Ability to work a flexible rotating schedule that may include nights and weekends periodically.
Comfortable with heights i.e., ladders, high mezzanines.
The position requires performing duties in a high-temperature, warehouse setting, specifically on the second-floor mezzanine, where air conditioning is not available.
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Eye and Face Protection, Respirator)

- Years of relevant experience: 4 years of related experience
- Education: Completion of a post-secondary program in Industrial Mechanics, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs and CMMS.
- Good understating of logistics processes.
- Mechanical/conveyor knowledge.
- Possess a valid passport with the ability to travel internationally.
