Summary/objective
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations of the facility, including supervising maintenance staff and vendors, coordinating repairs, and ensuring the proper functioning of all building systems. This hands-on position requires practical knowledge of general construction, electrical, plumbing, and other facility-related trades.

- Supervises and coordinates the work of maintenance staff and outside contractors.
- Perform and oversee preventive maintenance and general repairs on building systems.
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify safety hazards, needed repairs, and maintenance concerns.
- Develop and maintain a schedule of routine inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Respond to and resolve urgent maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and materials, and coordinate ordering as needed.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies
- Assist in planning and execution of facilities upgrades, remodels, and minor construction projects.
- Train and mentor maintenance team members and provide performance feedback.
- Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs and priorities.
- Monitor and evaluate maintenance team performance by tracking work orders and ensuring timely task completion. Generate weekly reports on team activities and productivity metrics to identify improvement areas and ensure operational efficiency. Regularly report productivity data to align with broader business goals.

Supervisory responsibilities: Supervises maintenance staff
Work environment: Work in indoor and outdoor environments, exposure to various conditions.
Physical demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Travel required: Up to 50% of the time, maintenance tasks at stores and warehouses
Required education and experience:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 3+ years of maintenance experience
- 2+ years of supervisor experience
- Strong working knowledge of general construction, electrical, plumbing, and maintenance repairs.
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred education and experience:
- 5+ years of maintenance experience
