Summary/objective
The Construction Worker is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Supervisor with the day-to-day maintenance operations of the facility. This includes performing repairs, supporting construction and maintenance projects, and ensuring the proper functioning of all building systems. This hands-on position requires practical knowledge of general construction, electrical, plumbing, and other facility-related trades.

- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with daily maintenance operations and assigned projects.
- Perform general repairs and preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and facilities.
- Carry out basic construction tasks, including carpentry, painting, drywall, and flooring repairs.
- Support electrical and plumbing work under the guidance of qualified staff or contractors.
- Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Inspect assigned areas and report safety hazards, repair needs, or equipment issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely and maintain them in good working condition.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and storage spaces.
- Follow company safety procedures and comply with OSHA regulations at all times.
- Assist in facility upgrades, remodels, and minor construction projects as directed.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to support operational needs.

Work environment: Work in indoor and outdoor environments, exposure to various

Physical demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, climb ladders, and
perform physically demanding tasks.
Travel required: up to 50% of the time, maintenance tasks at stores and warehouses
Required education and experience:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 1+ years of maintenance experience
- Basic working knowledge of general construction, electrical, plumbing, and maintenance repairs.
- Valid driver’s license
