An incredible opportunity has presented itself for an experienced Marketing Manager at Black River Health (BRH). The Marketing Manager is responsible for coordinating and carrying out Black River Health’s marketing, communications, and public relations activities. This role manages daily marketing operations, including advertising, digital and print communications, social media, volunteer coordination, and community-facing materials. The Marketing Manager ensures that messaging is consistent, professional, and aligned with Black River Health’s mission, vision, and values. Working closely with department leaders, this role supports organizational initiatives by developing materials, maintaining brand standards, and assisting with campaigns that promote services, programs, and community outreach. This opportunity is:

Essential Duties:
- Supports the objectives of the Marketing Department by coordinating daily activities, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
- Provides day-to-day direction and guidance to marketing staff, clarifying job expectations, monitoring work, and giving timely feedback to ensure high-quality results.
- Assists in carrying out the marketing and communications plan by coordinating campaigns, monitoring market activity, and tracking results. Prepares routine reports on campaign activities and outcomes.
- Coordinates the organization’s digital and traditional marketing efforts, including website content updates, social media posts, print advertisements, brochures, and community event support.
- Assists in developing content for marketing channels, including newsletters, press releases, and social media. Ensures work product is accurate, professional, and timely. Contributes ideas and proofing support as part of the marketing team.
- Implements and coordinates marketing and communication activities, ensuring materials and campaigns are delivered on time, consistent with brand standards, and supportive of organizational priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field required
- Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, communications, or related field required; healthcare experience preferred
- One to three years of supervisory or project coordination experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and desktop publishing or design software required
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, website content management, SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, and project management software preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences
- Demonstrated ability to organize projects, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of rural healthcare and community dynamics preferred
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
