Key Responsibilities:
Provide academic leadership, supervision, and evaluation for our veterinary nursing faculty.
Develop, manage, and continuously improve the program curriculum and teaching schedule.
Monitor student success, implement retention strategies, and maintain an 80%+ success rate.
Manage the program's budget, expenditures, and resource allocation.
Serve as the primary point of contact for AVMA accreditation, including preparing annual reports and self-studies.
Teach courses as needed, sharing your hands-on expertise directly with students.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical sites and our Program Advisory Board.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Graduation from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
- Three (3) years of occupational (i.e., practical) experience within the veterinary field and/or three (3) years of teaching experience in the veterinary field.
- Currently a credentialed veterinary technician.
- Current license, certification, or other designation as required by local, state, or federal laws to work in the veterinary field.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer skills.
Compensation & Benefits - FTE
- Hiring Range - $93,653 to $117,040
