The Marketing & Development Director is a professional who supports the mission, goals, and objectives of NoCo by planning, implementing, and managing a comprehensive agency-wide marketing strategy. The Marketing & Development Director is responsible for leading and executing the organization’s fundraising and donor relations strategy. This role will focus on building relationships with donors, identifying new revenue opportunities, and fostering a culture of philanthropy within the organization. The Marketing & Development Director will work closely with members of the Leadership Team, Board Members, and community supporters to meet and exceed fundraising goals.
Requirements
Has a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or development, or related field and a minimum of five years’ experience with marketing/public relations and/or development in a not-for-profit agency. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising targets. Has excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Is skilled with computers and computer applications including the use of social media. Strong understanding of nonprofit fundraising principles, techniques, and regulations. Gives attention to detail and has organizational and planning ability. Has ability to work independently with minimum supervision, ability to work within a budget, ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Has a positive attitude and high energy, is highly creative, is adaptable to change, and is a resourceful problem solver. Skilled at engaging, cultivating, and stewarding relationships with diverse stakeholders.
