Description
The Finance Coordinator is responsible for all day-to-day activities of recording invoices and expenses, processing payments, recording revenues and cash receipts, and processing bank deposits for the organization. This position reports directly to the CFO.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Supervisory Responsibilities
- None
Position Responsibilities
- Receive and organize statements and invoices submitted from internal departments for timely processing and payment
- Complete payments and record expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices against purchase orders
- Enter new vendors, and update current vendor information
- Maintain and reconcile credit cards, entering information into the general ledger
- Oversee electronic payments and record in the general ledger
- Ensure internal expense process is followed by program employees, escalating issues to the CFO if needed
- Monitor and maintain account receivables aging report
- Enter all deposits and cash receipts in the general ledger
- Responsible for overseeing and processing daily deposits and incoming checks
- Create and maintain daily cash receipts/deposits records
- Evaluate, develop, and improve processes, procedures, and systems to increase accuracy and/or efficiency
- Assist in monthly close
- Assist with annual financial audit and periodic funder audits
- All other duties as assigned

Education & Experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field a plus
- Experience with BlackBaud Finanial Edge Nxt
- 2 or more years of experience in a accounting and finance required
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
